Human Health Manual Pty Ltd (trading as OpenMinerals.AI) ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information when you use the Prev8 mobile app and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

The short version

Your health data is yours. It is encrypted, never sold, and used only to power the features you choose — your Energy Twin, voice logging, meal scanning and insights. You can export or delete your data at any time.

1. Information we collect

Personal information you provide

  • Name and email address
  • Account login credentials
  • Profile information (such as goals and preferences)
  • Communications with our support team

Health and wellness data you log

The App lets you record wellness data, entered by you or captured through connected tools and devices, including:

  • Nutrition, calories and macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fats)
  • Meals captured by photo for AI food recognition
  • Urine and saliva pH, electrical conductivity, specific gravity and nitrate readings
  • Mineral / calcium analysis from food images
  • Water intake, supplements, sleep notes, weight and journal entries
  • Digestion, hydration, energy and longevity scores derived from your data
  • Practitioner protocols you choose to upload

Voice and audio

When you use the voice companion, your speech is processed to transcribe and log what you say and to generate spoken responses. Audio is used to provide the feature and is not used for advertising.

Images

Photos you capture (for meal scanning or to create your Energy Twin avatar) are processed to deliver those features.

Apple Health and connected devices

With your permission, the App can read metrics shared from Apple Health and wearables you connect (such as Whoop, Oura and Garmin) — for example sleep, heart rate, steps and activity — to compute your scores.

Device and technical information

  • Device type and operating system
  • App version
  • Crash reports and performance diagnostics
  • Usage analytics (product interaction)

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and operate the App and let you log and view your data
  • Compute your Energy, digestion, hydration and longevity scores and generate insights
  • Power voice logging, AI chat, meal scanning and your Energy Twin
  • Sync your data securely across your devices
  • Improve performance, features and user experience
  • Maintain security and prevent fraud
  • Communicate important updates and respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal data.

3. AI processing

Some features rely on trusted third-party AI and avatar providers that process your input (for example, text or transcribed voice for chat and logging, meal photos for food recognition, and photos used to generate your 3D avatar) solely to return a result to you. These providers act as our processors under contract and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes or advertising.

4. Health information disclaimer

Information provided through the App is for informational and wellness-tracking purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a healthcare professional before making health decisions.

5. Apple Health data

Data read from Apple Health (HealthKit) is used solely to provide App features. It is never sold, never used for advertising or marketing, and never shared with third parties for those purposes, consistent with Apple's HealthKit requirements. You choose which categories you share and can revoke access at any time in the iOS Health app.

6. Data storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information through:

  • Secure cloud infrastructure
  • Encryption in transit and at rest where appropriate
  • Access controls scoped to your authenticated account
  • Secure authentication systems

While we implement safeguards, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Sharing of information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Trusted technology service providers who support the App infrastructure
  • AI and analytics providers used to deliver and improve the App
  • Authorities where required by law or legal obligation

All third-party providers are required to maintain appropriate data protection standards.

8. Data retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us or by deleting your account in the App.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent to data processing

10. Children's privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and over. Users under 18 should use the App with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. Any family profiles for children are created and managed by the adult account holder, who is responsible for the data they enter. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13; if we become aware that such data has been collected, it will be deleted.

11. Third-party services

The App may integrate with third-party services such as analytics, AI and cloud providers. These services operate under their own privacy policies.

12. International users

We are based in Australia. If you access the App from outside Australia, your information may be processed and stored in Australia or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website with an updated effective date.
